A: We specialize in the design and construction of ADUs (accessory dwelling units), additions, remodels, and outdoor living spaces. Whether you're looking to build a custom ADU, remodel your kitchen or bathroom, or enhance your outdoor area with a new patio or deck, our team provides high-quality construction services tailored to your needs. 

Q: How do I get a quote for my project?

A: To receive an accurate quote, we'll schedule a meeting at your home or project site. During this meeting, we'll discuss your vision, review your ideas, evaluate the scope of work, and give you a ballpark price.

 

For smaller projects that are estimated to be under $20,000, we will provide you with a detailed bid that includes a firm price within 10 business days following the initial meeting.  For more complex projects that are estimated to cost over $20,000, we require a preconstruction agreement to be signed and a $500 fee to cover the time and effort involved in creating an accurate estimate. If you decide to proceed with the project, this fee will be credited back toward the total cost of your project. Once the agreement is signed and the fee is paid, we will work closely with you to provide a binding, detailed estimate for your project. 

Q: What is the typical timeline for completing a project?

A: The timeline can vary depending on the project type. During our initial meeting, we'll provide an estimated timeline, and we'll keep you updated as we progress. 

Q: Are you licensed and insured?

A: Yes, we are fully licensed and insured to operator as a general contractor. Our insurance includes general liability and workers' compensation, ensuring that your project and our team are protected throughout the project. 

Q: Do you handle permits and inspections for construction projects?

A: Yes, we handle all necessary permits and inspections for your project. As we manage every step of the process ourselves, you won't need to worry about navigating the complex local codes or regulations. We'll take care of everything from applying for permits to scheduling the needed inspections. 

Q: Can I make changes to my project once construction has started?

A: We understand that ideas can evolve as a project moves forward. If you want to make changes, we'll work with you to incorporate them. However, please note that changes may impact both the timeline and cost, and we will provide an updated estimate before moving forward.

A: As a small business, we take great pride in our work. The general contractor is hand-on throughout the entire process. He personally oversees every step, ensuring that the work meets our high standards. We focus on quality and attention to detail, ensuring you're satisfied with the results. 

Q: What should I do to prepare for my project?

A: Before we start, it's helpful to gather any plans, design ideas, and a list of priorities for your project. For ADUs, we'll discuss your design preferences and desired layout. For remodels, outdoor living spaces, and other projects,  consider things like materials and features you'd like to include. We'll also discuss any site preparation needed to ensure everything is ready to go when we begin. 

Q: What types of payment do you accept?

A: We accept checks, bank transfers, and credit cards. Please note, all prices provides are cash prices unless otherwise noted and a 3% fee will be added for any credit card payments. Payment terms will be outlined before the project starts. Typically, we ask for a deposit upfront, with additional payments due at key milestones throughout the project.

A: At this time, we do not offer any direct financing options.
